今晚真是个忙碌的晚上。我正在家里写作业，我爸爸正在书房里写作文。我妈妈对上海歌剧感兴趣。她正在看上海歌剧比赛。公寓非常安静。突然间断电了。一切都黑麻麻的，但是我很喜欢。断电了，我就可以不用写作业了。我们慢慢的走向起居室。五分钟后，我们都坐在沙发上。这是一个既幸运又倒霉的一天。我说让我们开个音乐会。 我父母都同意了。我拿出一些蜡烛并点燃它们。我们唱歌，大笑，聊天。我们都玩得很开心但是当我在唱歌时，灯突然亮了。哦，我的上帝啊。我爸爸继续回房间写作文。我妈妈开着电视并对我说“亲爱的，去写作业!”我觉得很沮丧。我坐在桌子边，想我恨灯光。我希望第二天还能够断电。我觉得我会越来越开心的。我陷入了梦境…………

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 20xx year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

That’s all, all my dull, coldly and snowy winter vacation.

Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.

寒假期间，因为春节和其他原因我很开心。假期期间，我父母和我回到河北的乡下老家。我已经好几年没回去了，所以看到过去这些年这座小村庄发生的巨大变化我感到很惊讶。几乎村里的每一户人家都有彩电，有的还有了电脑。很多家庭都有了新建的或重建的房子。以前，老式瓦房随处可见，但是现在它们看上去完全是一幅新的景象。摩托车或者甚至是私家车也已不再是奢侈品了。

一位村民骄傲地告诉我他和其他一些村民跟团出国旅游了。以前，村民们一整年都忙于农活，但是现在它们有更多时间和钱去放松娱乐。旅游已经成为在村民当中已经成为一种新潮流了。看到这些惊人的变化，我爸爸说他一退休就想回到家乡。而我也强烈支持他的观点。

那天风很大，人们在路上行走都很困难，别说是驾驶电动车了，更何况车上还载着两个人和一箱鸡蛋。当车行到岔路口时，车上的那箱鸡蛋经不住大风的考验，鸡蛋都滚了下来，幸亏还没坏。

我和妈妈赶忙下车捡鸡蛋，可鸡蛋捡一个，滚一个，我心里想：要到什么时候才能捡完啊!就算捡完了，又怎样将一箱沉重的鸡蛋运回家呢?

忽然迎面来了一辆大卡车，我焦急地喊起来：“怎么办，车来了，蛋也别想要了!”

令我大吃一惊的是大卡车“吱——”的一声来了个急刹车。下来一位阿姨，说：“ 大姐，这么晚怎么还带这么多鸡蛋呀?”说完，三个人就开始捡起鸡蛋来。

They were too hungry to speak or move, and thought they would die. At last, the tunnel was dug through. They were saved. They had been there for fourteen days!

My grandpa said they had not been let out at once. If so, they would have died. They were kept at the entrance to the tunnel where it was very dim, and they were fed with some thin porridge. After a day or two, they had recovered a bit, and they were helped out.

After liberation, my grandpa worked very hard, and he was elected as an advanced worker every year. He is also a people representative of our city. He is loved and respected by everyone who knows him, and he lives the rest of his life happily.
