摘要:Disclosed is a process for producing a printed malter, which comprises ejectingdroplets of an Active ray-curable ink in a heated state through a head to supply thedroplets of the ink onto a recording medium, thereby forming an image, wherein theactive ray-curable ink comprises a polymerizable compound component, a
photopolymerization initiator and a gelling agent, has a viscosity of 60 to 200 mPa·sec at25°C and a shear rate of 1000/see and can cause phase transition at a temperature of25°C or higher. The process is characterized in that the ink contains, as the polymerizablecompound component, a bifunctional polymerizable compound having a molecularweight of 400 or more and a viscosity of 100 mPa·sec or less at 25°C in an amount of 75mass% or more relative to the total amount of the polymerizable compound
component. The process enables the production of a printed matter that has excellentink ejection stability, can be printed at a high speed, has a highly precise and highly stableimage formed thereon, and rarely undergoes deformation. Also disclosed are; a printedmatter produced by the process; and an active ray-curable inkjet ink which can be used
for the printed matter.
