The city is full of tall buildings that reach for the sky. They’re like giant blocks stacked on top of each other, all different colors and sizes. I love watching the cars zoom by, a giant, colorful river flowing through the streets. Sometimes, I even feel like I can reach out and touch the clouds from my balcony.
My grandma lives in the countryside, in a small village
surrounded by green fields. The houses there are made of brick and have little gardens with flowers and vegetables. I love the smell of the fresh air – it’s so different from the city, where the air smells like exhaust fumes and smoke.
At the city park, I can play all day with my friends on the swings and the slides. The park in the countryside is quiet and peaceful. I
like to walk through the tall trees with my grandma, listening to the birds sing their songs. The sun shines on my face, warm and bright.
City lights are like stars that never sleep. They glitter and shine all night long. The countryside is full of stars, too. The stars there are so bright they make my grandma’s stories seem more real.
I like both the city and the countryside, they are both special in their own ways. The city is exciting, while the countryside is peaceful… and both make me happy.
