摘要：A method and apparatus for allowing a user to edit a table in a Web page isprovided. The method comprises displaying the table and several display elements on adisplay device. An indication is received, which user wants to add one of the displayelements or modify a layout of the table to the table. A cell structure is added or

changed for the display element to several table structures corresponded to the tableon the display device. In response to the indication is generated to change a display ofthe table and several HTML (HyperText Markup Language) or XML codes thatsubstantially reflect the table in accordance with the table structures on the displaydevice.
