童年的往事英文作文

When I think back to my childhood, there are so many memories that come flooding back. Some of them are happy and some of them are sad, but they all helped to shape who I am today.

One of my happiest memories is of spending time with my grandparents. They lived in the countryside and I loved visiting them during the summer holidays. We would go for long walks in the fields, pick berries in the hedgerows and play games in the garden. My grandparents were always so loving and kind, and I felt safe and happy whenever I was with them.

Another memory that stands out is of starting school for the first time. I was so excited to be going to \"big school\" and I remember feeling very grown up in my new uniform. However, I was also very nervous and I clung onto

my mum's arm as we walked through the gates. I soon made friends though, and school became a place where I learned so much and had so much fun.

Of course, not all of my childhood memories are happy ones. I remember the time when my pet rabbit died and I was devastated. I had loved that rabbit so much and I couldn't believe that she was gone. It was my first experience of loss and it was a very difficult time for me.
