上海世博会中国馆位于园区A区，建筑面积457平方米。高69米，地下一层地上六层。形如斗冠，层叠出挑，制似斗拱，以整体大气的建筑造型，整合了丰富多元的中国元素。中国馆由华南理工大学建筑学院院长厚镜堂担任总设计师，进场参观者不能走76级大台阶，而从右面的自动扶梯进馆。

Shanghai World Expo China Pavilion is located in zone A, whose construction area is 457sqare meters, with a height of 69meters.The seven-story building, six above and one under the ground.Shaped like a bucket crown ,the building is diverse tiers,and has a bracket system.The imposing architectural modeling has a perfect integration with the rich Chinese elements.Hou Jingtang, who come from South China University of Technology is the dean of the department of architecture, serves as the chief designer of China Pavilion.Visitors can't walk into the museum from the 76big steps,they must go into the museum from the escalator on the right.

中国馆下部33米完全架空，大厅内仅有两架巨型自动扶梯。斗拱是用钢架焊接，外贴直纹金属钢板，建馆用钢1万多吨。掾头顶端根据东南西北方位，刻上专用于官印的叠篆中国印。太平台西边的兔子建筑是馆，后是馆，右边是世博轴。9米高台阶下南广场，面向上南路主入口，东面是亚洲各馆。两组交叉的自动扶梯专给33米第三展区的参观者下来用。参观者从四根方形馆柱的直通电梯直接上49米第一展区。

The lower 33 meters of China Pavilion is completely built on stilts.There are only two escalators in the hall.The bracket is welded by steel frame, and the surface is covered by straight grain metal plates.10000tons of steel is used to build the museum.The auxiliary head is engraved with China official

seal.The rabbit building in the west of Peace Platform is Macau Pavilion, behind the Peace Platform is Pavilion, and the right is Expo Axis. Step down from a height of 9 meters we come to South Square, opposite is the main entrance, and the east is Asian Pavilions.Two sets of cross escalator are designed especially for the visitors of the third area in 33meters to get down. Visitors can get to the first area in 49meters through the direct lift of four Root Square Pavilion columns.

第一区49米层《东方的足迹》有《春天的故事清明上河图》，第二区41米层是《寻觅之旅》，第三区33米层是《低碳行动》。电梯的出口是49米层的立体影厅，门口是倒挂着的城市。地上刻有中国各县省市城市的名称，每个人都可以找到自家地。春天的故事是中国馆《东方足迹》的第二部分，49米层的放映大厅一次可容纳700多个观众，这是一部全长八分钟的多媒体巨幕立体电影。由拍摄过《南京，南京》的新锐导演陆川摄制。观众被左中右三个大银幕和穹窿顶幕立体包围，音响和画面融为一体，摄人心魄，极富冲击力。

The Footprints of the first area in 49 meters layer has Story of Spring----Q ingming riverside scene. The second area in 41meters layer is The Dialogue. The third area in 33meters layer is The Vision. Lift exit in 49 meters layer is stereo projection.At the doorway is The City Hanging Upside Down.The ground carved with Chinese counties and provinces city name, everyone can find their own.Story of Spring is the second part of The Footprints.The showing hall in 49meters layer can accommodate more than 700 viewers at one time. This is a multimedia giant screen stereo movie with a full length of eight minutes.The movie is filming by Lu Chuan, a creative director who is also the director of The City of Life And Death.The viewers are surrounded by three big and doom stereo screens from three directions.Audio and pictures as a whole, it is breathtaking and full of impact.

米，共计800平方米，由作过北京奥运为开幕式长卷的水晶石公司制作，此图内容分为3个部分，白天和夜晚两种形式，夜间灯光辉煌，表现了北宋都城市民的夜生活，当时汴梁（今河南开封）的经济已相当繁荣。通过一片绿色的树林进入多媒体无座位放映廊，观看《同一屋檐下》，短片简述城市和人的关系。

River of Wisdom is the third section of The Footprints. Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival is 128 meters long, 6.5 meters high, total 800 square meters.It is made by Crystal Company ,which is also the maker of the long painting of Beijing Olympic opening ceremony.The painting is divided into 3parts.There are two forms at day and night.The light is brilliant at night, it reflects the night life of t he northern song dynasty capital citizens.At that time, the economy of Bianliang(Now the Henan Kaifeng)is prosperous.Through a large stretch of woods we go into a multimedia no chair projected corridor, we can watch a short film about the relationship between city and citizens called Under the same roof in the corridor.

从49米层第一展区出来沿着环形斜坡走向41米层的第二展区。6根横梁层叠出挑,靠斜钢梁焊接拉住，成为自然的遮阳棚。馆内斗拱制成空横条行，外面篆体字上也有空横条以利通风，起到天然的生态节能功能，这是用20多种红合成的中国红。架空部分用玻璃材料填补，由于是面朝下，及采光又不直射。从49米层走到41米层，道边挂满了全国各地的儿童图画，参观者边走边欣赏描绘《城市，让生活更美好》的画展。每个省市都有被征集来的富有想象力的优秀儿童画展出，从各方面诠释了中国城市发展中体现的自强不息，厚德载物，师法自然，和而不同的智慧，展示了可持续发展的美好未来。

从中国馆西面的窗往外可以看到世博轴和高架步道的景色。平顶馆是人、生命、地球主题馆与生命阳光馆、公众参与馆。步行斜道转入中国馆的正南面，窗户在上可遮住杂乱的脚步，南面的步行斜道上挂着的儿童画，这是6岁上海陆佳磊的作品。这是东面的窗外景色，有中国馆纪念品商店及其它服务。商店背后进入亚洲区斯里兰卡、巴基斯坦、以色列、阿曼馆。《寻觅之旅》是中国馆的第二展区，由6个区域组成。一、纸森林月台：艺术的树木，宽大的月台上一片翠绿鲜艳，表达了人对大自然绿色的向往，人与人和谐共处的美好愿望。From the window in the west of China Pavilion we can see the scene of Expo Axis and skywalk.Flat-roofed hall are urban pavilion, life pavilion, Earth pavilion,Life and Sunshine Pavilion.and the pavilion for public participation.Pedestrian ramps turn to the south of China Pavilion.The upper windows can cover the messy

footsteps.Pedestrian ramps in the north are hanging with children's pictures,this is the work of Lu Jialei from Shanghai.This is the scene of the east, there are souvenir shops of China Pavilion and other services.Behind the shop is Sri Lanka Pavilion ,Pakistan Pavilion ,Israel Pavilion ,and Oman Pavilion.The Footprints is the second exhibition area of China Pavilion, it consists of six parts.Paper forest platform：Art trees, a bright green on wide platform, is an expression of the people to the natural green, and good wishes for harmonious coexistence among people.

从第二展区出来，由自动扶梯从41米层下到33米层第三展区，展区面积3400平方米，被赋予未来畅想的功能，取之有道，用之有节，自然警示，返璞归真，感悟之泉，在展厅电梯出口有个喷着泉水的玻璃层，里面荷花盛开。参观结束，由自动扶梯直接从33米层下到东面的一层平台。下面排着长队的人是等着在世博护照上敲纪念章的参观者。From the second area out,by escalator from 41 meters layer to 33 meters layer third galleries, the exhibition area is 3400square meters,and is given the future imagination function,proper exploration,measured consumption,return to simplicity ,fountain of illumination . In the central elevator exit of the hall there is a glass layer which is spraying water, inside the lotus blossom.The end of the tour, by the escalator directly from 33meters layer to the platform layer of the east.People following the long queues are waiting for the commemorative medallion on Expo passport.
