动名词的用法

一、动名词作主语

1.表示一般的、泛指的或习惯性的行为

2. 搭配：“It is no use/ no good/ fun / a waste of time/ a good pleasure +doing” _____________(read) aloud is very important for us to learn a foreign language. It’s a waste of time _____________(argue) with him. 二、动名词作表语表示一般的、泛指的或习惯性的行为 His job is ______________(deliver) newspapers. 三、动名词作宾语

1.接动名词作宾语的动词：

admit 承认 ；allow，advise，avoid 避免；appreciate感激；bear忍受, consider 考虑；delay 耽搁；dislike 讨厌；deny 否认；doubt, enjoy；excuse 原谅escape 逃避, fancy 想象, finish 完成； forgive 宽恕；forbid 禁止；imagine想象, keep持续；mind 在意； miss 错过；pardon 原谅； permit ； practice 练习； prevent 防止； quit停止,recommend, resist 抵制； risk 冒险； suggest 建议， can’t help忍不住，can’t stand不能忍受

2.在介词之后用动名词作宾语。注意to是介词的短语，如be /get used to, be accustomed to(), contribute to, devote oneself to /be devoted to, get down to, look forward to ，object to,; be opposed to; stick to ; lead to; pay attention to; prefer… to等。 3.含介词的固定句式：介词常省略

prevent /stop /keep sb. /sth. from doing 阻止……做……

spend /waste time or money in doing 在做……方面花费/浪费时间或金钱 have some difficulty/trouble in doing 在做……方面有些困难 have a hard time in doing sth.做某事很艰难

there is no sense in doing做……是没有理由/道理的 四、动名词的被动式

The problem is far from being solved . She didn't mind being left alone at home . 归纳：动名词的被动式，（being done，having been done）表示动名词与句中的逻辑主语构成______动关系， 其否定形式是：not being done, not having been done 五、动名词的复合结构
