摘要：A guide (28) and method for use in coating of an elongated band (14) with liquidmaterial prior to its attachment to a substrate. The guide (28) supports the band (14) in atilted orientation relative to a dispensing outlet (16) of a liquid dispenser (10). The liquid
dispenser (10) dispenses a continuous bead or filament of adhesive that wraps aroundthe band (14) to coat the band (14) while it is separate from the substrate (18). Thecoated band (14) is thereafter bonded to the substrate (18).
