摘要：An information provision device () presents more appropriate search results to

the user while using an existing search function. A query reception part () receives input ofa query. An acquisition part () acquires search results consisting of matched informationcontaining identification information and a snippet of a search target satisfying the query.A correction part () corrects the search results for each piece of matched informationcontained in the search results based on the character string obtained by removing thecharacter string contained in the query from the character string of the snippet

corresponding to the matched information. A presentation part () presents the matchedinformation contained in the corrected search results.
